1. No OOC Insults
a. Put simply, do not insult other members of this forum. You are allowed to disagree and have your own opinion, but whatever issue you may have with someone, it is not to be brought up here. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. This does not just apply to staff, you should not insult other members of this forum, period.
b. If someone is causing you trouble, Do not do the same! It will result in you both getting warned if you are not careful. PM the staff, with screenshots if possible, and we will deal with it.
2. No IC/OOC Crossing
a. Do not take what happens to your character personally, and vice versa. You are not allowed to let what happens In character affect your treatment of people out of character. In the same light, things which happen OOC cannot be transferred to In character.
3. Content kept PG-13
a. Content in general should be kept PG-13. This means no explicit sexual content, only mild swearing, and there may be violence but it must not too graphic or persistent.
b. Any thread that is going to contain content that goes beyond the PG-13 restrictions should be clearly marked 'R' in the title. This is so younger players will not accidentally read something they shouldn't.
c. R threads are not for porn play - if you wish to RP graphic sexual content, take it to PM
d. This applies to images and the content of your post.
4. No ‘God-Moding’ or Powerplaying.
a. You are allowed control of your character, but only your character. You cannot control another character’s actions in your posts. Do not write your posts with no room for input from the other player.
b. Everyone has their flaws, this means your character should too. They should get injured, miss shots, and generally mess up occasionally. This doesn’t mean that your character has to be terrible (although possible) but you should know their limits.
c. As a rule of thumb, Characters with more posts are considered stronger. Although your characters may be enemies, remember as players you are on the same team. If things get out of hand, an Admin will decide the outcome for you.
d. On a rare occasion players can choose to circumvent this rule. This must be agreed with the other player taking part.
5. Concerning Multiple Characters
a. As a general rule, having multiple characters is discouraged. In the interest of fairness there are a number of restrictions on multiple characters.
b. Those who wish to have an alternate character should inform the staff before roleplaying with them.
c. Characters under the same player are not allowed to interact. Appearing in the same thread is a basic example of this.
d. In polls or site discussions only one account may be used to vote.
6. Sig images should be 500 by 300 pixels
a. Any larger than this will make pages hard to load or mess up the forum layout. It is not hard, so please keep the signatures sensible.
You will be given 3 warnings by the staff, if you still do not follow the rules it will result in a ban. As staff, we will act to preserve fairness of the site and context of the setting. If you have a disagreement with an admin, you may speak to the other but do not expect a different answer. Questions should be PMed to 'admin'
